Meet Gregarious Gracey! An Interview with Nikki Gracey, DPT

If you know Nikki Gracey, you know she is a family and community minded woman with a heart to heal and serve her patients with great intentionality. She is an owner at SandhillsPT – Mullen and she serves the North Platte area one day a week.

What led you to pursue physical therapy for your career?

I took initial interest in high school but really decided it was the career path for me while working as a tech in outpatient physical therapy facility.

Where did you go to PT school?

University of Nebraska Medical Center

What is an aspect of your job you really enjoy?

I really enjoy the variety of patients that I am able to work with in this setting; children to the elderly, athletes to women’s health patients.

What do you enjoy pursuing outside of physical therapy?

I enjoy following my children in their respective sports careers and spending time with friends.

What does your job entail?

The Mullen outpatient clinic is open three days a week and I see patients at Pioneer Memorial Nursing Home in Mullen. I work in North Platte one day a week. I screen athletes for injuries at Mullen 1-2 nights a week and travel to Hyannis High School 2 times a month.

I am looking forward to my new role as a part owner of the Mullen clinic.

Nikki’s word of wisdom:

Life moves fast…don’t waste a minute!
